ive been trying to add the sacred kin barbarian subclass from xanathars lost notes to everything else to a character of mine. this has involved re creating the subclass with dndbeyond's homebrew system. so far everything has worked smoothly and i was able to learn how to use the tools at my disposal on dndbeyond except when i tried to add a spellcasting feature similar to that of an eldritch knight or arcane trickster but with con for a spell casting modifier and using the sorcerer spell list instead of the wizards. i have yet to get that to work and have received help and instructions on how to do so but nothing has changed. i dont know weather this is a bug or me failing incredibly hard at seeing something obvious
This is likely because you have chosen to make this a prepared 1/3 caster (unlike an Eldritch Knight or Arcane Trickster who learn their spells permanently).
There are known issues that the devs are aware of with trying to add Prepared Spellcasting or Pact Magic to classes that do not already have them. This is likely because there is not a place where this is done in official content.
There is no ETA on when this corrected functionality will be added at this time.
However, reading the subclass description that you have linked, I don't believe this was your intent? In which case I might recommend setting the "Spell Prepare Type" to "-".

i was told to link the subclass so mods can look at it https://www.dndbeyond.com/subclasses/170110-sacred-kin
edit: im also linking the thread where i asked for help https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/38760-adding-spell-slots-spells-to-a-barbarian
one time my character flirted with some towns folk while hiding in the illusion of a black dragon. "the dragon seduces you"
Did you ever figure this out completely I'm able to get a few spells to show up but I'm not sure how to build a class properly

Thanks for the report!
