I purchased Ghosts of Saltmarsh content and have Content Sharing enabled for the campaign.
Shouldn't characters be able to pick the unique Ghosts of Saltmarsh Backgrounds for their characters? They don't seem to be showing up as a selection.
Try toggling content sharing.

I don't think they can be shared. It's the source books that get shared.
Please make sure you have Content Sharing turned on. I have confirmed that backgrounds do share correctly for GoS.

Compendium and character options both get shared. This includes when they are bought piecemeal as well.
