The stat block for this feature looks great on the page that describes the Artificer class, but when you select the Alchemist archetype and then look at that feature in the character builder UI, the formatting is almost completely absent (a few of the bold and italic labels are visible). I only found this out because I copied the HTML for that stat block for use within a homebrew sub-class I was creating, inserting via the "Source code" option in the text editor, and then saw that the formatting was wiped out (and then verified by looking at the Artificer).
Yeah, for now the sidebar on the character sheet purposefully strips out almost all formatting due to the possibility of really messing up the entire character sheet with it.
The recommended way to look at such stats on your character sheet is via adding the creature to the EXTRAS section.
Gotcha, Stormknight! So, basically, we should create a new monster, such as the alchemical homunculus that DxJxC referenced in their comment, and then just link it up via EXTRAS?
You dont have to create them, DDB already added them (doesn't mean you cant make your own). But yes, add them in extras. The subclasses already have filters (which can be toggled off) to show the correct options.

The homunculus stat block is copied to the [Tooltip Not Found].
