Warforged and Shifter are not searchable as “Warforged” and “Shifter” on the Race page of the Character Builder. Their subraces are searchable, just not the main races.
Testing:
Own the Eberron Content
Character Builder, Page 1: Race
(note that ticking or unticking Playtest or Eberron content on the “Home” page does not remove Eberron content from the Race page)
Make sure that Sources is listed as “All Sources” or “Wayfinder’s Guide...”
In search box, type “warforged” or “shifter”
No results
In search box, type “skirmisher”, “beasthide”, or another relevant subrace
That subrace appears
Have tested all other races for completeness, found no problems.
