When choosing the fighter archetype the description says you can choose from Champion, Battle Master or Eldritch Knight but the pick list is only showing Champion. Is the a bug or a coming soon?
For the beta, only the rules and options provided in the D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, Elemental Evil Companion are available in Beyond. Once the full platform launches later this summer, the core rule books and others will be available for purchase, and the content within will be available for those that purchase, or have access through a DM's subscription.
The DM has Master Tier subscription and Content Sharing is enabled for the campaign. He also tried to create a Level 4 Fighter and select martial archetype, but only Champion appears.

Have your DM made some content purchases? The Master Tier alone does not give you any content.
OK - I think it's working now - He bought a DM guide. Another campaign member has purchased the handbook. It seems you have to edit the Character from inside the Campaign. If you go to edit directly, only the base SRD options appear.

Oh yes, the character must be created/edited inside the campaign.

Except it isn't Beyond. WotC is the one who published the Basic Rules, which dictates what content is free. The Eldritch Knight, or other "basic archetypes" of fighter are a part of the Player's Handbook, which is paid published content by WotC.
Beyond is a bookstore, contracted and licensed to sell digital versions of the 5th edition books, and *offering* tools for free with which to play DnD. They are following the terms of agreement with WotC. Only the Basic Rules/SRD content and Elemental Evil Player's Guide have been offered for free by Wizards of the Coast, and by extension, that means DnD Beyond.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
The only content that is freely available on D&D Beyond is that which is included in the Basic Rules, as those are free for all players from Wizards of the Coast. Anything that would otherwise require the purchase of a sourcebook such as the Player's Handbook (as with all but the Champion fighter archetype), requires purchase on D&D Beyond as well.
If you own the content in the form of a physical book already, you are welcome to use the homebrew tools to create it yourself for free. Individual sourcebook components (subclasses, spells, magic items, etc.) are also available for separate purchase, with their cost subtracted from the overall sourcebook price if you should decide in the future to buy the entire sourcebook. (For example, you could buy just the Battle Master fighter archetype for $1.99 USD.)
Lastly, if you are in a campaign with anyone who owns content already, and someone in the campaign has a Master Tier subscription and can turn content sharing on, you will be able to create a character in that campaign and utilize all of the official content being shared.

My DM has a subscription, but I joined his campaign, and still cannot access the two additional martial archetypes.
Your DM will have to enable content sharing on the campaign (found in the campaign page) and all unlocked content will be granted to you.
