When making a homebrew monster, I have nothing in the fields for description, reaction, legendary action, or lair action but they're showing up in the stat block as blank fields I can't get rid of. Is there something I'm missing or it this a bug?
I can reproduce and confirm this error. Every time the monster's statblock is changed, a space is automatically created in every single feature field (i.e. actions, reaction, bonus actions, legendary actions, etc.).
The only solution is to clear all these automatically created fields before saving the monster.
Yes. I've never turned them on in the first place. And as I said, it happens with all fields. Every single one gets a space. If there is a text, the space will be inserted at the end of the text.
Ok... I have solved the problem. Apparently the Chrome extensions which I use for my vtt sessions caused the issue (Beyond20 and DDB Data Grabber). Using Firefox with the same extensions did not seem to reproduce the problem.

Link the homebrew (it doesn't have to be published).

Did you uncheck the Legendary Actions and Has Lair fields? You have to turn those off.
