Recently been teaching a friend how to DM, he's a writer wasn't sure if he'd get into it. We recently posted his Vipervatus Race through my account before he made his own.
We were wondering if we could have ownership of the race transferred from my account to his. Nainia
He's well aware the Race needs tweaking but as he'll be moving soon and I don't want to give out my account. we were wondering if this was possible.
unfortunately, there isn't a method to transfer ownership of homebrew - it's just not something that the interface or admin controls were set-up to do.
This is the first time I have seen a request for this since D&D Beyond started in fact!
I understand the problem, but unfortunately we are unable to resolve this for you. 😢
would it be possible to remove it from the published list to my private hombrew so he could just copy the info in another tab to his account an republish?
he's also suggesting that may be a back end feature you may want to work on. given the rules you have in place for similar content on the site. abandoned content could become an issues if someone want's to update or alter something published and would like to share with the community at large. Example he was using was adding subraces, which is part of what he needs to work on for the race we published through me.
