I'm currently in the process of switching banks, and as a result, also switching credit cards. My current subscription is still bound to my old credit card, and I'd like to change it to my new credit card. However, there doesn't appear to be an option in the account settings where you can easily change your payment info. Am I missing something? With most websites and online services, this is a pretty basic feature and usually easy to find, but I'm a bit lost here on D&D Beyond...
Has this changed at all? I need to change my billing info as well. Does this mean I really have to sign up again in some way? Can you take me through the steps?
Has this been fixed? My credit card was stolen and I was forced to change it, but I can’t see anyway to update my information for my Master level subscription which expires this weekend. I do not want to lose the five campaigns that I currently have running nor do I want my players to lose access to sourcebooks that I’ve purchased (which is all of them).
If you cancel a subscription before it ends, you still benefit from the subscription for the full period it was good for. So you can cancel it now, and then set a reminder for yourself to start a new subscription on the date the old one would have ended. Or the day before, if you want to be extra cautious.
For what it's worth: your characters and stuff will be ok as long as there's no (long) gap between unsubbing and re-subbing. I believe I had some communications with the D&D Beyond team and they helped me out on this part very nicely. So yeah, it's a hassle (and still something they should fix, IMHO), but you won't be losing anything.
Hi :)

Thanks for your help!

For subscriptions, you need to cancel your existing subscription and set up a new one with the new payment details.
For purchases, card details aren't stored and are instead taken at each purchase

Subscription running out doesn't effect anything long term. If it were me, I'd just wait and fix it when needed.
Really? That's.... old fashioned :) Was hoping it would be easier. Regardless, thanks for the help, much appreciated! :)
yeah, so...........
are you guys going to improve this? let Members see their history and current payment information etc?
Because honestly re-subbing/unsubbing is kind of bullshit.
I came here today to see if I got billed or not for my sub renewal. Thank GOD I don't have to do a "Card Swap"
I hope you get your shit updated before that happens. Members and people who pay you have a right to be able to view their payment history.

AFAIK, this still hasn't been changed, so it would still be the process of cancelling your current subscription and then getting a new one...
Still the same. Doesn't really speak well of Curse, Twitch, Amazon or whoever is the current owner of D&D Beyond.

I have same issue, came looking for an answer only to find there is none
Still isn't fixed half way in to 2022. Hopefully at least WoTC will fix this insanely glaring error soon, now that they've bought this site.
