The infusion when applied to a shield and equipped doesn’t calculate the additional +1 to your AC.
Normally shields give plus 2 but with the repulsion shield infusion artificers can make it plus three. It appears to be something with the subtext linking from what I can tell but I ,ay be wrong. Anyway, I noticed that the repulsion shield adds 2 and not 3 AC like it should.

Please check that you have attuned the character to the shield - the additional features (like the +1 AC) only function once attuned.
