Hi, I just bought the DMG & MM & the DMG is not working. I heard that rebooting will work so I tried that but it still didn't work.It just sends me to the Marketplace section. I bought the PHB last night & it worked & the MM opened but not the DMG. Any help would be nice.
It is likely that your browser has the link to your content cached, which can be fixed fairly easily, by clearing your browser's cache.
If this is not something that you are familiar with, you can find useful guides here on how to do this for most current browsers.
If, after clearing your browser cache, you are still unable to access content that you have purchased, please contact the support team, who will be able to assist you further.
I have all the info that the DMG gives, I just can't open & read the DMG. Please help. I don't know computers enough to figure this out. I have heard other stories about certain books not opening so I am assuming that it will be fixed soon. I am on a very fixed budget & I don't have the money to pay for something I can't fully use. As of now I see at least 2 months of eating nothing but instant noodles just to pay for this so please help.
I'll get my nephew to figure it out. He knows computers. But thanks for the help. Sorry if I sound annoying, I just don't know tech stuff & I really am on a fixed budget. But I am really thankful for all the help. I will get him to do the cache thingy.
what you mean by you can't open & read the DMG ? you go in compendium you select rules then view dungeon master's guide ? then it should bring you to a list of stuff you can access like major subject like creating multiverse / creating adventure / and in each major subject you have specific stuff like adventures type / creating NPCs you click on them and you get the info like in the books
When I go to the compendium & select the DMG it brings me to the Marketplace where you buy it, but it doesn't have the buy option because I already bought it. Now when I go to my character builder, it has all the options & magical items in the DMG but I can't access the panel to where you can read the actual book

then its your cache on your web browser that you need to clear was doing same thing to me

What it is sure, its that you own the DMG. So don't worry is just an issue of navigation.
Try to do as I said and let me known:
On Chrome, go on the "three dots" on the top right.
Then go on setting.
The setting page should have an "advanced" drop menu. Click here and find "Clear browsing data" and confirm.

I am not computer smart so what do you mean by try another browser?
The only book that fails is the DMG
The thing you use to navigate the internet. Try both Explorer and Chrome.

My nephew just did the cashe & browser history but the DMG is still not working.
