The Champion is the only fighter subclass that's free with the Basic Rules, all other options must be purchased
The Eldritch Knight subclass is from the Player's Handbook and is not available for free - only content from the Basic Rules and specific other content are free.

The Champion is the only Fighter subclass available in the SRD. If you'd like to use the Eldritch Knight subclass option here on dndbeyond using their character creator you have a few options.
Purchase the Player's Handbook - this contains the Eldritch Knight subclass you're hoping to select.
Purchase the Eldritch Knight subclass by itself. In the link posted above if you scroll down you'll see the subclass purchases listed à la carte.
Finally, if you have access to the printed copy of the subclass you can use the homebrew creator in the collections tab in the banner to copy the features for personal use. just make sure not to publish the subclass.
I'm playing a fighter who just got 3rd level and I want to choose Eldritch Knight as my Martial Archetype but the only option is Champion.
Help please.
