Missing Parts of the Books

After making the jump to D&D Beyond, I didn't realize one thing that the DMG didn't include the six shooter guns and anything that isn't directly fantasy. Is there a reason for this. My group uses the six shooters, shotgun, and hunting rifle!

As far as I can see, the DMG includes those things you are talking about.

I couldn't find them in equipment when creating a character on here!

You guys are both right! So does anyone know how to find the equipment to add it to our characters?

You can't find it in the builder because they are a very optional equipment.

So I would have to Homebrew them in as a magical item than?

I am afraid so, yes. Seems the only way to add them to the builder.
