Trying to use the built in dice roller and on the mimic it add's 1.12 instead of 1.

sounds like you're using a browser extension to add those dice rolls - possibly Beyond20?
I know that specific extension adds the DEX stat as a decimal to the initiative roll, for tie-breaker purposes (the Mimic has a DEX of 12).
