I am thinkingng about purchasing a subscription to D&D beyond and have a few questions. Let's say I purchase a heroic tier subscription and create 100 characters and then my subscription ends. What happens to my characters when the subscription ends? Are they all lost? Am I still able to edit them without a subscription at that point? I know I wouldn't be able to create more, but can I still access and edit my created characters?
When you unsubscribe, you will retain all your characters, but you get to choose 6 that you can use as a free account. Then if you decide to subscribe again, you'll have access to all those other characters.

All but 6 of your choice are locked and inaccessible until you resubscribe.
