I was looking at spells for my sorcerer when I found out that a any spells that were added to the extended spell list from Tasha's does not show up as being a Sorcerer spell, the only spells that do show up were the spells that were included in Tasha's.
As an example I am unable to select Grease, Flame Blade, Flaming Sphere, or Magic Weapon. It seems like this effects both the search and the character builder and it appears the issue extends to Wizards as well. Is this going to be fixed soon?

On your chatater do you have optional class features on, and on the second part of the class page of you sleeted the optional class spell list?
I did end up finding that for the character builder and enabled it. It still is a problem when searching for spells though as none of them show up and I usually use that for readability.
I'm confused by what you mean by they don't show up? Are the not there under the side menu when you are adding spells? or are they not appearing when you search on DDB main search function under the Sorc spells.

If you go to search spells outside of a character sheet, none of those spells show up if you filter by class.

Because technically they are not Sorc spells. They are additional spells added to specific Characters. I agree it would be nice to be able to search them this way, but DDB needs to revamp their tag system for that.
But these spell do indeed appear on the Sorc list when you select the optional class feature, just looked at my Sorc and they are there under the "manage spells" area

I get it now.
They definitely need to work on their tag and filter system. It's so difficult to filter out things I don't want as an example I believe someone is sharing content with me for Aquisitions Incorporated, which is something I don't want to see. In order to remove those spells I have to go through the filters and select each book that isn't Aquisitions Incorporated in order to filter out those spells.
Yet here we are with spells that I own not showing up for a specific class because it's considered "optional", which to me personally is just plain dumb as they are expanded spell lists of spells that should already be included for these classes. That's my take on it though.
