I'm the DM for our game sessions and the person who got my group together. In the campaign his character belongs to an account called TheFedoraOwl but when he logs in the account is called TheFedoraOwl138 and he has a blank character. How can my friend access the TheFedoraOwl account for my friend? Whenever we do the email change it does it for the 138 account. Is the account not connected to his email because you cant have multiple accounts with one email? If so, why are there 2 accounts?
Notes: post edited to remove discussion of account sharing, which is against ToS
I had a look and these are two separate D&D Beyond accounts - each of which is tied to a different Twitch account. I cannot divulge any further information than that though, as you are not the account holder. If your friend needs further clarification, then if the account holder would like to drop me a PM, I can explain further.
Unless expressly permitted in writing by Twitch, you may not sell, rent, lease, share or provide access to your account to anyone else, including without limitation charging anyone for access to administrative rights on your account. Twitch reserves all available legal rights and remedies to prevent unauthorized use of the Twitch Services, including, but not limited to, technological barriers, IP mapping, and, in serious cases, directly contacting your Internet Service Provider (ISP) regarding such unauthorized use.
