Using iPad v1.0.0.37, if I'm in one book (Strahd) and follow a hyperlink to a section, the back button takes me back to the previous page. If I switch to another book (say the PHB) to look up something and come back into the previous book (Strahd), the back button is replaced by the Compendium link that takes me back to my library instead of the previous page in the Strahd book.
Without a tutorial on how to interact with the books, I found this frustrating and book marked the table of contents in each book. It was only later that I found that tapping at the bottom would bring up the horizontal table of contents for the book. Without working hyperlinks between books, this could be an major issue for some folks.
For D&D Beyond App on Android 8.1. I only have the Basic Rules Compendium, and found that there are several links in the main table of contents page that just go to the beginning of the chapter instead of the appropriate section. Other faulty links displayed a message was sent automatically when selected.
Faulty section links: Physical Characteristics, Personal Characteristics, Prerequisites, Proficiencies, Class Features, Spell Casting, Falling/Vision and Light, Known and Prepared Spells, Spell Slots, Rituals, Size/Speed/Skills, Challenge/Special Traits/Actions, Lair Actions, Consumables/Charges
Since upgrading to version 1.0.0.37 my Dungeon Master's Guide (which I had to re-download) no longer updates the page I was last looking at, always going back to the page I had been looking at before I upgraded to 1.0.0.37. It's always at the top of the page, too (rather than where I was last looking).
iOS 11.2.5, iPhone 8+
Quick update: a workaround for this issue is to go back from the page you're viewing to the compendium view before closing the app - doing that will make the app remember which page you were on (albeit still going back to the top of the page).
I'm having trouble accessing anything since the update. Everything needed to be re-downloaded. Most compendiums don't open. Those that do, only seem to do so when I'm online. Mostly the application just crashes.
WISH: The ability to make the font even smaller. This is a great wish for my part, so I can actually almost have a page in front of me on the iPad, not just a few paragraphs.
I just downloaded the app, and it will not recognize my twitch login (Failed to Login- Twitch User Not Found). I am using the correct login information for my twitch account (I have logged out and back in to the twitch app on my phone).
Opening Lost Mines of Phandelver causes the app to return a pop up reading "Unexpected Error". Seemingly repeatedly. It just starts flashing up again and again and again.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, issue persists.

Is the account you're trying to sign in as this same JustinP account? Once the twitch account you're attempting to sign in as is 'merged' with D&D Beyond, you should be good to go.
We're working on a fix for this so that new users who sign up for Twitch to access DDB will have the DDB account created automatically.

Thanks for the report.
The new build today addresses that horrible bug. :)
Just downloaded the pre-release version today! If there's a known issues list somewhere, and someone can point it out to me so I don't spam repetitions, that'd be cool! Thanks for developing the app :)

1) Opening search from the hamburger menu doesn't bring up the keyboard automatically. Once it's up, clicking hamburger menu doesn't make it dismiss (clicking another option like "Bookmarks" does).
2) I've had to reauthorize my twitch account what feels like 20 times.
3) ToC in Xanathar doesn't always link where I expect. Top level ("Chapter 2: Dungeon Master's Tools") and first sub level ("Falling") link directly to what I expect. But the second sublevel ("Rate of Falling") links to the top level chapter, not to the subsection.
4) In both PHB and Xanathar's, navigating up from viewing compendium content to the table of contents shows a flickering of the page you were looking at for a few frames.
5) In the marketplace, I kept coming upon pages that wouldn't load and just gave me an infinite spinner. Interestingly, both of these were linked from Lost Mines of Phandalever, but I couldn't load the hidden shrine of tamoachan and Tomb of Horrors. When I was viewing the Marketplace page for DM Guide, I clicked on Hidden Shrine of Tamaochan and it crashed the app.
6) I occasionally can crash the app by going several layers "deep" in the marketplace, or by opening lots of pages and backing out of them and then opening more
7) Once, I clicked through on Hidden Shrine of Tamaochan, and it appeared as if I was in the bookmarks section of the app (main part of the screen said "You currently have no bookmarks" but the nav bar said "The Hidden Shrine of Tamaochan" and was blue rather than mint green.) Going back and pressing it again led to the same situation as the infinite spinner in #5.
8) Pressing the back button while the hamburger menu is open still changes the screen underneath.
9) Can consistently crash the app if I find one of those infinite spinner pages such as the White Plume Mountain one. Just click it, see spinner, press back, and repeat 5-7 times.
I'm on an iPhone and am having a similar issue to Falkor (https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/bugs-support/mobile-alpha-testing-bugs/10183-mobile-alpha-testing-bugs-support-mega-thread?comment=184) . I hit Basic rules, chose a topic from the index, bounced back to the index, and generally looked around a little. Then I went to search "Monk", found it, pulled up that page, and then found I no longer had a "back" button, but a "compendium" button. Hitting this skipped the book's index entirely and brought me to a list of books. When I hit "Basic Rules" again, it took me straight to Monk again, not showing the index. I was stuck, unable to access the index of the book, always skipping straight to the Monk page again.
I also did not realize until I just read Falkor's post that I could tap the screen and get the horizontal index. So yeah, I got unstuck, but had no idea how, and still would like the default behavior to be to always jump back to the index.
Mobile app opens successfully, but hangs during loading if any content at all and then closes app without warning. Next time I open app, it opens up on the library screen without having to load (as if I'd just changed windows).
This cycle repeats if I try to select a book again. Bug does not discriminate between content with bookmarks and content without.
Have been unable to use app for couple of weeks. Bug existed before the most recent update but was worse.
Thanks!

After creating a few bookmarks in the basic rules book, I did some testing on shuffling them around. It appears that with only two bookmarks, after going into edit, I could only move a bookmark down once, after that it refused to move the bookmark down. Moving bookmarks up was always functional. When doing further testing, when using more than two bookmarks, this bug does not show up and shuffling works perfectly fine. This was tested on the iOS app.
When trying to access any content, it closes the app. It also shows full price for products I've brought parts of previousl instead of the discounted price
Wish: Don't know if this has been suggested/requested yet, or whether or not I've already posted this. Anyways, the feature that I'd really like to see in the app, is more options in the ability to adjust the size of the text - I would really like the option of having the text even smaller. With that option, I gain the ability to read the compendiums and adventures on the app more like they are in the physical copies - and online - which makes it a much better reading experience - in the addition to get a better overview of the information your looking at - or looking for.
EDIT: I'm forgetful - literally saw I just posted this suggestion earlier. Im sorry! I'm letting it stand, though, since I've elaborated about why I would like this feature.

Search function for "conditions":
This brings up a lot of options, but the second to last is the actual article labeled "CONDITIONS" (all caps). Would be nice for that to appear first.
My purchase of the way of the drunken fist does not show anywhere. I have not purchased all of xanathar, just the one archtype.

When clicking nearly anything in the monster tab (challenge, special actions...) It just shows an artwork.

The last update fixed the problem I was having with the unknown error constantly coming up when clicking on something. I can use the links now!
This app is great!

iOS: Basic rules: Races: The link for “View details for each race in the Races list.” at the bottom is not formatted correctly.
