Visible on my iPhone but I receive the following error "There was an error loading the compendium source. Try again with an active internet connection or contact support if the problem persists".
See my post here about the visibility of the new book on the app.
I am having the same sort of issue, but that has not worked for me no matter how many times I've done it. It is not visible on my phone, nor is it visible on my iPad. Just the website.
Is piecemeal content (like, e.g., the spell bundle from Xanathar's) not supposed to show in the mobile app if you've purchased it? If not, are there plans to add this feature in the future? If I'm supposed to be able to see it, what am I doing wrong if I can't?
Also: Are there plans to make the app available on the Amazon marketplace?

It will be possible in a future update of the app.
I'm running Beyond on my iPad (iPad 2, iOS 10.3.3) and it keeps crashing on start-up. It was doing the same last week but seemed to work after I deleted the app and reinstalled. Now it is working fine. I think it works ok on my iPhone and certainly on my Mac.
There was a problem for many months with the version 1.0.4 on iPad 2. They have (finally) released v1.0.5 September 12 which seems working well so far after deleting the old app then reinstalling. Still a few issues with the settings not working for the upper choice for font size etc (not selectable). when you do it from the settings menu. It works OK when you do it from the main menu.
Ok, I think I got it working after updating to the latest version. Thank you. But where are my characters in the mobile app? I only have access to the compendium, the core books for now, bookmarks, search, and My Account. I can't find the characters I created on the web version. I know I'm doing something wrong, but wanted to check.
Can't seem to find where to manage HP EDIT: Found under death saves, may want to update label to indicate this
Are you talking about in the web interface? I only ask because the mobile app has no character sheet info in it and this thread is for that mobile app...
Hmmm... I was trying to reply to an old message. Seems not to have worked.
The problem is that, when using the iPad D&D Beyond app, when logging in to twitch, it asks for a response to a CAPTCHA which is never displayed. Thus I can not log in.
Anytime I try to use the search feature I get an error message that says "Basic Rules is out-of-date and does not contain this data. Update the source from the compendium screen." This happens even when I try to search an item that doesn't appear in the basic rules.
I can't find a way to update any of the sources from the compendium screen, and I've already downloaded all of the items available. I have the legendary bundle, and I can read all of the books, but the search function does not work.
Please fix this as soon as you can. One of the reasons I decided to go with D&D Beyond is the ability to search the compendium.
Updates have been made available for some of the books, and the search function is working for the updated content. Books that haven't been updated aren't searchable, and search attempts will prompt a message to update, even if the update isn't available.
Also, an attempt to search the item Antimatter Rifle from the list causes the app to crash.
I had to uninstall/re-install the app to get the listings to work - and even then the results are spotty. Some results seem to only be indexed to their first appearance - for example Zuggtmoy appears in both OotA and MToF - however if you do not have OotA downloaded (but do have MToF) she does not appear in the listings.

I have a question! Or maybe more than one.

Anyone else having that trouble?

So I can finally use the app on iPad 2.

You are not doing anything wrong. Character content and listings are not a part of the mobile app yet.

I’m not sure if this has been mentioned but the links in the spells list in Xanathars guide just take me back to the top of the spell list

Over a year later, this is an active issue on iOS for iPad.
What issue?

I really like the new stuff (spells, monsters, etc) added to the Android app today, but filtering/searching seems to crash the app.

@Aldero, I had to completely delete the content, and then redownload the content from the compendium.
Thanks for the info, I'll give that a try.
