I tried the recommended force quit/restart several times during my game this evening to no avail. When I got home - after the tablet had been powered off when leaving my game - I powered the it back up and after a minute or so and a couple refreshes of the Compendium screen, both MToF and Rrakkma both appeared. My manifest is now showing as v9.4 - my phone still shows v9.2.
I had a similar issue yesterday; I was out and about running errands, but was checking this thread and trying the various fixes posted every couple of hours with no luck. After I got home, I continued trying different things -- nothing... still nothing... nothing again... and then I connected to my home wi-fi network instead of relying on a cellular data connection, and suddenly the app updated itself by downloading the new manifest. Near as I can tell, the "active internet connection" requirement mentioned earlier is more particular about the specific kind of a connection it has than it might seem at first. Maybe intentionally, maybe not.
A lot of the major problems were resolved over the weekend with no update necessary; however some of you may be still waiting on the 24 hour timer update timer to reset. We have released version 1.0.3 which comes with customer support abilities (outlined below) to help troubleshoot and fix this issue in the future. Android was deployed yesterday and should be widely available in the Play Store while iOS's update just went out, so keep your eyes posted for the update in the App Store.
If you received the 1.0.3 update and still do not see MTOF / Rrakkma, please follow these instructions:
Go to My Account
Double tap the portrait of your avatar
Customer Support should appear, tap that option
Select "Restore Local Manifest"
Allow the app some time to correct the manifest
Force close the app and relaunch
And on a final note, thanks to everyone who has provided feedback and with your patience while we resolved these issues.
We're continuing to monitor things on our end to ensure everything is going smoothly, but please let us know if there is something still amiss.
Confirmed for me on both my Pixel 2 XL and Nexus 9. Thanks!

This has not had an effect on my device. I still cannot download MToF or TftYP.
We haven't seen a problem with Tales from the Yawning Portal before, so that makes me think something else is awry.
I'd be happy to help though, you can either reply here or shoot me a DM.
Could you provide the platform (Android or iOS), the OS version, the model of device and the version of the app you have installed? Could you also please provide a description of the exact issue your seeing -- are you unable to see the product in-app, does the download fail at some point, does it appear to have been downloaded but you cannot open it?
