Great initiative with DnD Beyond. To me, the power of this is that it allows me as a player or a DM to bring my stuff to a play session on my Ipad or similar device. But it all falls short as the first thing that doesn’t work on Ipad is the menu system.
By pressing a menu selection (Characters, Compendium e t c) the sub menu opens allowing me to select any subselection BUT, as soom as I press the main menu selection (i.e. Characters) it selects that option and closes the menu. So while I can see the sub selections I can never reach them because my main selection is auto triggered. Please fix this ASAP as it becomes very cumbersome to use the site at all from an Ipad. (Running latest IOS on Ipad pro 1st gen).

D&D Beyond FoundersThe entire menu system is in the progress of an overhaul, to replace it with a massively better user interface.
I've tried the prototype and I believe it will eliminate the problem you raised above.
It'll also make using the menu on a PC via the website a significantly better experience too.
