Please add a syntax guide to the Homebrew Creator. Especially now that the combat tracker can roll right off the stat bloc this would be a huge boon to the DDB Homebrew community!

Since 1995: AD&D 2nd Ed.; D&D 5e; Vampire: The Masquerade (and other Old-WoD titles); Rifts (and other Palladium RPGs); Star Wars (WEG); Magic: The Gathering; Old School Essentials; AOL Red Dragon Inn; Ultima Online; Dark Age of Camelot
Thank you! These links are very helpful and I’ll be adding them to my bookmarks. But I’m talking about something on the tool itself.
So DMs and players, especially new ones, or ones who maybe don’t engage with the forum community as much, don’t have to track them down in a forum with thousands of threads dating back however many years the site has been operating.

Hi! Long time to Thread given the age on this baby,
I too am interested in seeing an upgrade to the Homebrew creator to make the creation of homebrew items, races, subclasses, etc. more simple to create for new DMs and the Wizards who want to transcribe things from other sites for private use to make transition between systems easier. I implore the DnD Beyond staff to consider an update like this to the Homebrew creator.

If we see anything like this, it won't be until the rebuild debuts later this year. It would be nice to see homebrew get easier though.

D&D Beyond StaffThere have already been a few excellent staff forum post guides for creating tooltips, snippet codes, and stat block rollables!
