Ahh, awesome. I have actually 4 month mortgage left, and I planned to celebrate that by starting a regular donation towards Matt on patreon, but I can't find him there. :(
The most direct way to support the show, I think, is a subscription to ProjectAlpha.com. I also believe they really appreciate donations to their chosen charity of 826 LA.
I didn't think about that, but I wonder how Marsha is going to use beyond without it in there.
It was mentioned that the Blood Hunter wasn't intended to be released at first, it was just added for Taliesin but they decided there was no reason not to release it publicly. So perhaps they have added it for Marisha but haven't figured out the licensing or other details (homebrew subclass support?) to be able to release it publicly.
I think it is now a two way licensing thing. Green Ronin holds the license to the campaign book not WoC. On the other hand WoC can after consulting Matt release content from Dungeon Masters Guild because they own that site. That all being said though the content is all owned by Matt, WoC can't release anything except the class options on the Dungeon Masters Guild unless they work out a deal with Green Ronin to partner with them or buy the rights to the book. Kind a missed opportunity I think on WoC part as it would have been amazing if they were the ones who did the official campaign book. Matt could then at least use most of the dieties real names and other official things that WoC own.
The Way of the Cobalt Soul is Open Game Content, which would mean that any use of it in here would have to be in compliance with the OGL. Making software OGL-compliant is actually pretty tricky, and I imagine they want to avoid doing that.
If WotC and Green Ronin came to an agreement to re-license the same material to Curse under different terms, it could likely be done.

Can you say more about that? What makes it tricky? I'm not disputing, I'm honestly curious as I don't know much about those ins and outs.
I am not a lawyer; none of this is legal advice. I do not work for Curse, I do not own copyright on any open game content, and this is all just my layperson’s take on the issue. Okay, that’s out of the way.
Among other things, open game content has to be clearly marked and delineated, a link to the OGL would probably need to be placed on any page containing open game content, and any time open game content mechanics are used in the software, they have to be visible to the user. That’s less a pain here than it would be in something like a video game, but still, dealing with licenses like that can be more trouble than they’re worth and potentially even open Curse up to lawsuits.
