They are two separate versions so you'll keep the original version.
Although if WOTC had decided that the new monsters were errata's and NOT alternate versions, DDbeyond would be obligated in changing the originals and you would not get any refund for that.

They have said it is a separate sourcebook and will treat it as that so you can use whatever version you want.
So nothing will change for you.
