I'd been wondering why my character was so absurdly squishy, having reached level 3 as a monk and still only having 14HP.
When I bumped him up to level 4, I saw his max HP only rise to 16, which is just his constitution modifier of +2. After double checking with PHB and getting a fresh pair of eyes from the DM, we verified that each level is supposed to be 1d8 + constitution modifier increase, but dndbeyond never prompted me to provide a d8 result, or ran one itself. It was then I did the quick math in my head and realised that was true for every level. 8 initial HP + (4 * +2 constitution modifier) = 16.
I've rolled and fixed my character sheet for this level, but it seems like this is something people are surely going to trip up on?

Hi there Twirrim,
when you created the character, you set the hit points method to manual, so the character sheet expects you to manually update when you level up.
I agree that this could be a bit clearer and possibly have some sort of flag that lets you know when you have forgotten to do this.
