Starting equipment: Some way to either just automatically add this to a new character (with choices selected via drop-down box), or even just have it on the same page as the items, so you can see what you're supposed to take, as you're taking it.
Equipment "Packs": While it's convenient to just take the pack, it would be better if it added the contents as separate items, rather than as a single thing. As it is, if you use part of a kit, you then have to manually replace it with the single items anyway.
Containers: Being able to select containers for items would be really helpful, especially for the purposes of combat. Marking each item with the container (e.g. "backpack", "saddlebag", "belt pouch", etc.) with the option to drop any of that to the "ground" would help manage encumbrance much better.

I agree with all of these items. The containers feature would be especially helpful with magic items like bag of holding and Heward's haversack
I am not sure this has been added - but the kits/equipment bundles (I gave up looking when I saw there were 19 pages of mega-thread sorry) it would be great if these added the individual items not just the "entertainers kit" to your inventory.
It is really irritating to use if this is not the case since rations get eaten and candled get melted by dragons.
The other thing I found is that adding "ad hoc" items is currently not possible - and home-brew items seem to be limited to magical items (and I am not sure home brew items are really appropriate). I would like ot be able to do things like specify what a costume is for the entertainers kit, and what trinkets my character has (for example "A copper necklace with a small silver pendant") and all the other small items that come up in campaigns like a map of a specific city or other campaign specific things.

How about firearms? It's in the DM book to allow pistols for pirate based campaigns and their stats and rules are in the DM guide but I don't see them listed under equipment.
I would like a way to edit existing items. For example, I added a spell scroll to my character, but it doesn't say what spell it is, so I still have to keep that written down somewhere else.
Another useful thing would be to able to have containers and indicate which thing is in which container, and an area to put equipment that you are not personally carrying.

Create a Homebrew item with a spell scroll as the template; you can add a spell to any homebrew item.
I searched and didn't find anything, but magical properties are currently unavailable for the spiked armor as is auto generating the attack (as with shillelagh), both have a few work arounds, such as using the equivalent medium armor for the stats and adding a manual attack, just thought i'd give a headsup.
agree - and for items like arrows, my character carries some silvered, some regular - so tracking them separately is important (but you can't just "customise" as this option is only available for the arrows).
Would it be possible to have the firearms and explosives from the DMG added to the item list?

Ahh, good looking out there on that workaround. I will try that out.
A few things:
Modify the Healer's Kit to track the 10 uses that a kit has.

I think it would make sense to have the firearms from the DMG appear in the items listing
The Sword Hazirawn is not updated. In the errata it says:
Appendix C Hazirawn (p. 94). In the first paragraph, “If you are attuned” is now “If you aren’t attuned.”
It still says "If you are attuned".

It's hard to see through this large forum page, so someone's already said it, but the general equipment list seems to be missing antitoxin.
Also, thank you DrossPedantic for the assistance. :)
Guys you really need to add the feature to search by who can attune to an Item
Lead designer of: Druid Wild Shape Revised, Druid: Circle of Monstrosity (Homebrew class), Revised Classes : Focus on level 20.
Homebrewer of: Halwasa`s Mushrooms of fluid movement (Item), Giraffe (Beast), Displacer Panther (Beast) (heavily modified Displacer Beast that is owned by WoC), Lightning whip (2nd-level Spell), Lesser Shapechange (5th-level Spell), Investiture of Lightning (6th-level Spell), Touched by the magic (Feat).
Antitoxin (vial) appears to be missing when adding to inventory.
Dagger of Venom doesn't have charges like it should; the charges are just set to 0 with no way to fix it.

is it possible to orginize one's items by placing them in containers? .. what are the effects on encumbrance for items in a bag of holding?
