A thought that's sort of been percolating since my last session: a useful feature for DMs using D&D Beyond would almost certainly be some sort of "DM Dashboard" page that they can open say from the Campaign manager to just have access to various dice rolls the same way the players do. Basically; a page that allows them to prepare, maybe save dice rolls of various sorts with bonuses, modifiers, advantage/disadvantage etc, without having to use a "proper" character sheet. Maybe have some quick rules reference stuff on it ala DM screens etc. I had this idea mostly because my primary DM currently has no less than 3 "dummy" character sheets he uses for this purpose (named "Gene Ric" and deravations thereof); and that seems like a bit of a clunky way to handle this.
Something like this is planned. Not sure when though, and now it might get rolled into one D&d's platform upgrade.
You DM can build and run encounters (using the encounter tool). Pretty sure it can just roll dice like character sheets, not to mention make all the rolls on creature stat blocks too...
