Three months after release of the 2024 PHB, and this bug still isn't fixed.
It's not a bug. It's something that needs resolving between WotC and the third-party publishers.
Whether it will be resolved, for which publishers, and on what time scale is unknown.
But it's not a technical fix, and there are going to be lawyers involved, so the time frames involved are going to be longer. (And they've got a bunch of unresolved out-and-out bugs that I doubt we're going to see fixed until some time after the MM release.)
You'd think they'd have worked out the deals BEFORE publishing. But sadly goes with the arrogance of Hasboro lately in assuming 3rd party creators would just capitulate.
I bought the whole book still not seeing echo knight. Yes all the boxes are checked.
You're likely using the 2024 version of the Fighter class. The 3rd-party subclasses only work with the 2014 versions of their respective classes. Change your class to the 2014 version on the Class tab (you may need to scroll down to find it).
Couple months late to your reply, but thank you. I was having the same issue as the other person above and your fix worked. I switched the fighter subclass to the 2014 fighter and echo knight showed up

I bought the Explorers Guide to Wildemount, and have Critical Role content turned on, but still don't have Echo Knight. What am I doing wrong?

almost 2026 and still the same issue its almost like you have to play this role with pencil and paper only
It’s important to keep in mind that this isn’t a technical issue; it’s a legal one. Echo Knight is a third-party subclass from Critical Role, so the owners of that IP would need to provide an updated version for the 2024 Fighter class. Given the current state of their relationship with Wizards of the Coast, it seems unlikely that’ll happen anytime soon.
As always, you can make a homebrew copy for personal use on the 2024 Fighter class.
Hi, im having trouble locating the subclass section. And i can't really click the book, it doesn't open anything
Echo Knight is visible as a subclass on the 5e Fighter class under the Classes lookup (under Rules in the menu).
This is consistent with other subclasses; for instance, the School of Necromancy Wizard subclass from the 5e PHB is usable with the 5.5e Wizard until we get the new Necromancer, but only shows up under the 5e Wizard in Classes.
Can someone just link to the correct page please because I'm not seeing a subclass section on the books page. I've purchased subclasses before, so I know how it works. As other users have noted, it's not functioning as it should.

It's functioning just fine. There isn't "a subclass section on the books page"; there's a list of subclasses on each class's page. You can find them via the Rules menu at the top of the screen, under Classes. Or you can click the link above.
However, that page only shows subclasses you actually have access to. If you're not seeing the one you want, it's because you don't have access to that specific one. You would need to either purchase the book it comes from or join a campaign where that book is being shared.
Purchasing individual subclasses used to be possible, but it hasn't been for quite a while now.

No problem! Glad you got it working.

Hi Echo Knight still isn’t available on Beyond.
It's available for the 2014 version of the Fighter class, like it always has been.
This post explains why it's not available for the 2024 Fighter class.

Are you sure about that?

Got it, thanks. It's been a while since I made a purchase on here. Figures they removed that option.
