Seriously, if you're taking all of the material I've purchased on this site and then intend to steadily make it worthless as far as the actual primary function of this site, organizing character sheets for games, I expect my money back. How long before you have to completely shut this service off in the EU because they're after you for consumer rights violations?
I already have tons of books IRL. I bought the digital versions pretty much 100% for the use of the character builder. It's seriously so pathetically greedy of WOTC to pull this.
Seriously the thought that anyone bought these books to have a digital copy of them is laughable. This site is an abysmal way to view the digital books, the entire point of the site is the character builder, the books are character builder content. Remember kids: PDFs are available for free for everything this company ever produces.
I want a refund. Basically making the convenience of digital inconvenient. Also basically lost everything that I wanted to do was make 2014 character sheets with ease.
if I’m being forced out of what I paid for I want a refund.

Cancelled my Master Tier Subscription 01/12/23 because of OGL 1.1
All sales are final on digital via support/tos. Don’t like the changes and practices of Hasbro/WoTC stop paying subs/buying their products. That’s what I am doing now.
Time to switch to ToV I guess. I heard Shard is working on support for it digitally.
Yarrr!!! They are also working on Foundry and Roll20 IIRC. I had a great time meeting the Kobolds at GenCon, and aside from the two core Kickstarters I already backed, I've also started picking up more of their books. And with only a small amount of work for me as a DM, all of the 5e stuff I have already, is compatible with ToV. Looking forward to my first campaign under the ToV pirate banner.
Just as a reminder, when you purchase a book this is plain as day in the product details:
People make their purchases with the understanding that they will gain access to that book's material in the compendium AND TOOLSET. If you remove it from the toolset, regardless of whether you're replacing it, you are violating the agreement you made with consumers when they made the purchase.
Furthermore, this isn't just going to be a problem with these books. What happens next year when they release a book that ISN'T gonna be free here that has the new Twilight Cleric rules in it? Now that's out of the character builder entirely for people who purchased it. They'll just say "oh you can just homebrew it"? We can say pound sand.

The whole reason my group is on DnDB is for convenience. Take that away and what is this site? Just a hodgepodge of html and paywalls.
Precisely. This is post-purchase bait-and-switch, long after they've already got our money.

They don't respond anyway.
