Still waiting for this feature. Does anyone even work on this program? I swear there's only two people working on this thing(dnd beyond) that makes millions a month and all they do is add new books without fixing anything.
For what it's worth, a recent AMA revealed they're working on a completely overhauled backend that would allow for deeper changes like this. As the site currently exists, the Eldritch Blast spell has specific modifiers coded that other cantrips don't have, and the entire site is held together with duct tape and twine.

That makes sense. It seems legacy coding like this never take into account future improvements and code to get it to working right now (whether or not it's future-proof) and then as it gets more complex, legacy coding gets bundled and stacked so unclogging it makes it difficult to execute. It's dumb, but it's what it is. Hopefully the backend overhaul will take into account changes like this so implementing it isn't a pain that requires a whole other rework.

That's only beneficial at levels 2-4 if you want 2 attacks/round (and potentially 3 attacks/round).
No matter the cantrip, Eldritch Blast is superior.
9-10-2025 and still an issue…
Still an issue *bump*
Bump
I just added it manually.
How?
Click Customize on the cantrip you want and the damage bonus. There is a slot for it.
Over a year later and still not fixed. What the hell Wizards. Get it together.
Still a problem
November bumb. Fix. This. Shit.
Still in Dec 2025.
At this point, I don't think it's ever going to happen. Not until and unless they decide to rebuild and recode the entire website
Yes, there are manual workarounds, but you can do that on paper, you expect it to be done for you on a website like this.
Anyway, I want this thread going as its funny.

Ha, I received a notification about this thread and got my hopes up.
So still not fix to my knowledge, only make a note of it some where (like the notes page) and manually change the spells.
Fingers crossed for 2026!
