I just recently got into D&D Beyond with several of the books, a Master tier sub, and preordered WDH as I was excited to run it for my players. I didn't really know about the bonus content until yesterday when messing around with an npc I created and saw all the awesome themes/backgrounds/frames. I quickly pinged my players on discord to let them know they could have these awesome goodies only to figure out they don't get access to these through my campaign sharing. Since for the most part DMs will purchase the campaign modules and share this through their campaigns to players I'm really confused as to why this content isn't shared as well. If my players can't enjoy that content what is the point of preordering? Yes, maybe one day I'll be so lucky as to not be the eternal DM but for now that content is essentially useless when it could be an incentive for me to preorder when I otherwise wouldn't. Be prepared to lose gracefully.
Hi there,
The pre-order bonuses are currently, as you note, only for the person who made the purchase.
Applying them through content sharing could be a thing that happens in the future.
Thanks for the feedback!
