I just joined this site and I am a little confused. There doesn't seem to be anywhere in the forums for new members to introduce themselves to the rest of the community. I think that a dedicated sub-forum or even just a sticky thread would help newbies like me get themselves out there a lot. I am only on the free tier, so I may just be denied access to it, but if we don't have one period, that just seems counter-intuitive to growing the community to me.

It's something we discussed and decided not to go with. D&D Beyond has 1.6 million registered accounts, so I'm not so sure a welcome thread would work with this number of users.
Maybe a newcomer subforum in DDB general could be made? You can pin a thread with links to various rules and guides across the forums, and each new member (if they want) can start a thread to introduce themselves. It might also cut down on the "I don't know if this is where I post this, but..." threads that appear on other subforums.

Hi there and welcome to D&D Beyond!

You're welcome to start one though if you like!

1.6 million accounts? No wonder you didn't decide to go with it! Thank you for the information.
