An option to switch from imperial to metric. I'm french, I play in France with french people, I'm used to reading English but the imperial system is still a mystery to me and it's a bit of a pain to need to look up a conversion table as soon as distance, height, volume or weight are in play. Most of the value are fixed and already have an equivalent in the french edition of the books so it shouldn't be that hard to had an option like this on the website.
Please make it easy to search Content you own on D&D Beyond.
It amazing that we get so many new book on D&D Beyond, both in house and Third-Party Content, but you really have to fix the search function. The more Content there is on D&D Beyond the worse the search function get. It get harder and harder to search spells, monster and magic items to use in your game because the more Content there is on D&D the more useless result you get, because you can't access most of the results because you don't own the book that it's from. Please make it easy to search the Content you own and exclude things you don't own.
I know this has been an ongoing request for years, and was allegedly even on the official roadmap, but I'd just like to add one more bump for "adding Actions to Magic Items in the content creator". (I can understand that the upcoming edition change is probably creating a lot of both coding and content overhead, on top of the regular releases, but that also seems like a good opportunity to re-examine the lists of features which are user-accessible and which are dev-only.)
Creating a simple Folder Structure inside the "My Collection" menu would be nice. I added a couple of items that I found on DDB, some of them are funny, some I would make appear in a shop, and some could be a great reward.
It would be a small step to make DDB my actual tool not only for research but for the organization as well.
Thanks for your time.
P.S. lol, just noticed that the comment above is about the exact same thing
Been suggested like 500 times but seeing as moderator just posted gives me hope they’ll read this.
Nah man, mods on DDB are in the unenviable position of mostly putting out fires and answering "obvious" comments like the one above. The devs on the other hand have been MIA since like the before-COVID times.
But yes, dark mode should have been implemented at the beginning of DDB, and it should especially be a priority for a company that cares about accessibility.
And again, we're all screaming into the void here so...
For me as a legend, I would like to limit what I share with the group from all books I have on my account;
For me as DM, to limit what players can see, no matter which one of them brought the content.
We live in the age of information overload and players suddenly see 30+ resources just because I have a legendary bundle and somebody in a group master subscription, is very bad UX.

True but maybe they have friends in high places. Possibly and I’m hoping so because my eyes are burning
-Monster template that can effect players as a quick import instead of manually adding every ability (vampire, vampire spawn, lich, lycanthropy, ghost to name a few).
-ability to give spell like abilities as quests reward without needing to make a custom feat (or to modify NPCs to make one more unique)
-fix manage feat. When adding a feat that way (instead of character creation menu) that gives options; the options are not able to be picked.
-ability to add full custom class vs. just sub class.
On Character sheets there needs to be a place that a Dm can write personal notes about that character that the players cannot see. I would like to be able to track a characters progress, personal growth, alignment positives or negatives or enticements in a easy to view place without having to scroll the ever expanding Dm notes or opening a Doc file.
I bought not many, but quite a few source books. Now would like to find information in these books, or at least filter every other book out. Am I blind, or there is no way of doing it? Just to oversee "my shelf of books"?
For all that Beyond tries to limit access to legacy content, there still isn’t a way to filter out legacy monsters in the search. We can filter so that we are pulling from specific sources, but that takes a very long time if you are a serious player.
Also, please provide a filter for only content you have access to (either things you own or things that are shared with you via campaign and master tier subscription).
I would like an art and map tab. Sometimes I just want to look at the art for inspiration and with so many books now it's harder to find the maps and art by flipping through each page of the app.
Sometimes I just want to rekey a map for my campaign and have no idea what I want until it hits me.

People still post here, a 5 year old thread? Does any WoTC even read these?
it'd be nice to have a sort by new option for homebrew
No, they almost certainly do not. I'd really recommend people stop posting to this thread.
In the slim hope that this will be read.
Please for the sake of god allow sorting Homebrew into folder, not just the collection like being able to name a collection.

Maybe add the ability to create homebrew Races, instead of only Subraces.
This ability already exists:

Here's something to consider, in order to make Dungeon Masters' lives easier.
Introduce an ordering tool in My Campaign page. You have it in the Character page, so I guess it's very easy to do.
