I would really like a way to add items to NPCs/Monsters. This would make it easier to keep track of any special items players can find from defeated enemies and provide a way to add some customization to existing creatures without having to create a custom monster every time.
I believe that this is something Adam Bradford has said adding weapons to monsters is a feature of the impending monster builder and treasure parcels is a future feature of the encounter builder.
I'm not sure if I'm using it wrong but I couldn't add more than one type of scroll you just get a level 1 scroll.
if you edit it to be scroll of "insert name " when you try to add another scroll of the same level, it currently just increases the count of the first scroll you added.
I've had to list all the different level 1 scrolls in the notes and have to go digging to get the list of what I have.
if they were individual items that linked to the spell page you could just look down your spell list.
you could do the same for wands you have.
that way we can get a proper system for the number of charges left in a wand, rather than adding it to the notes.
it could use the same system as you have for staff of the woodlands etc.
at the moment it feels a bit disjointed as all the other stuff to do with spells sits nicely in the spells tab.
I think it would be great if there was a quick way for the DM to see all info from PCs. Like a toogel to see languages every body knows or everyone's passive perception etc. Just an idea.
So my partner Lauren had a suggestion.... It would be great if we could make the customisable character portraits larger as an option as to include full character imagers or mid shot portraits.
On top of this, it would be awesome if we could customise our character sheet layouts (like modulated panels you could organise yourself, or some templates that you can.
Hello, all. I don't think I've made any posts here on DDB yet, but I'm a legally blind user and this service has done wonders for my ability to DM and play with greater fluidity and ease. However, due to my specific visual needs in order to use a computer efficiently, there are some things that don't work very well when I use DDB on my desktop computer.
I use a high-contrast color setting on Windows 10, which often takes out pictures and renders buttons into plain test. While DDB is largely very accessible with these settings, one big problem is that checkboxes and other fillable boxes show up as blank squares, regardless of whether they've been checked.
I'd like to request some kind of simplification for such fields, so that a person using a high-contrast mode on a computer can still easily tell how many rages their barbarian has or how many 1st-level spell slots their wizard has used. It would also help for things like the Encounter Builder, where the filters use similar fillable boxes to show that they've been selected.
I use a lot of modules and would love to be able to run encounters through dnd beyond using the information from those modules. Basically if you look at the functionality of a site like Chronica, especially in the way I can run an encounter through the site itself (keep track of and change stats like hit points, spell use, ability score draining, etc during the encounter), that would be very helpful. But I’m a strictly dnd guy so if I can pull maps, characters, monsters, etc from the digital modules (which I know I have to pay for separately and am happy to do so), use that to set up encounters, and then run those encounters all through dnd beyond, effectively making me the laziest DM on the planet, you’ve got a subscriber for life. Thank you and good night!
REQUEST: As a Druid, my DM recently gave me an item that allows one extra use of Wild Shape per Long Rest. The features for item creation are fantastic so far, but maybe that could be added to a weapon? Too niche? I dunno, just a request.

As of now, there is no way to add to a Base class feature -- sorcerer sorcery points, monk's ki points, etc... but I would work it the same way you would work Rod of the Pact Keeper..
Let the item itself have a single charge (or how ever many you want), expend the charge on the item and then manually replenish a Wild Shape Usage (just uncheck one of the boxes)
Forgive me if this has been posted before or is already solved and I don't know how to do it, but being able to give my player's cursed items and hiding the curse until necessary would be a great feature.
As a new player who has only played on DndB how do others work with cursed items (on dndb or out of it). Do you just tell the player and warn him not to meta?

The way I like to do it is to make a copy of the item, and put the curse information in a spoiler tag. When viewed on the character sheet the spoiler tag isn't visible. :)
I would like the tablet app to support pencil note taking on the top of the content. It would help to be able to annotate in one way or another the content.

Is there any way to request to make something in-builder to be a little more conducive without recreating a homebrewed duplicate? i dont know, maybe like a drop down, or spoiler.. but I'll admit it's tricky.. do you want the player to be aware? If not, how do you spring this on them? you also gotta make sure as a DM and player that you remember that it's cursed if you remove the curse spoiler.. I'm sure you guys can think of something
I like the sidepanel for detailed information. I also like, that you can toggle the side it is displayed.
What would be even better, is an optional second panel on the respective other side, to that you can "send" the current view of the main side panel. So you can for instance have a permanent detail-view of a vehicle, pet or spell that is relevant for an extended amount of time, but still can quick-view other stuff like normal.

Can we get the Plane Shift PDFs added under the MTG content banner along with GGtR please? It’d be really nice.

HI Guys

Sorry if someone else has requested this.
cheers!
Great idea. I know I like to do illustrations of my characters and would love to be able to see them at a larger scale on my sheet. ❤️

We should be able to make homebrew whole classes by now in addition to subclasses and stuff
I have a wagon in my game. Put wagons in the extras section. All that's there now for vechiles are boats.
Not until the homebrew revamp, probably. They want a nicer Homebrew system before they open that up.
Check out all my important links here.
May we live in Less Interesting Times

In my local game i ma playing a gunslinger. Its now level 10 and i am gonna make my first weapon.
Its a:
Lever Action Rifle [Rare]
1d10 + 1d4 Damage +DEX MOD
Misfire 2
Action to Reload (big mag)
Range 150/600
Ammunition 8
But there is no way to eddit the range of the weapon.
We need more options when it comes to making new items.
