My biggest chore in running D&D games is that I have to switch from my adventure notes to monsters back and forth and look at the map I had prepared and the character sheets my players gave me.
If I could just have all of it in one place (like with pop ups to see monsters and characters. That's good) or even be able to place character tokens on my map and see it instead of looking over my screen, that would be great.

I've actually found multiple browser tabs to be a good solution. Yes, you still have to flip between tabs, but it's no worse (better, actually, IMO) than having a couple books open. You can even open up two copies of the same tab for things like map vs. description.
When DDB was released, we were in the middle of Curse of Strahd, so I picked up the digital copy. It didn't take very long before I stopped even using my GM screen -- and I've got one of those nice ones that you can create your own inserts. After listening to a pod cast where they talked about sequencing events so things like keeping perception checks secret doesn't matter and the cost/benefit proposition of just letting things like AC be public, I stopped hiding my rolls. So, my game kit now consists of a 15" laptop and a bag of dice. I like it that way.
I run in Hebrew. So, not to stumble, I translate significant portions of the adventure (I hate doing it on the fly). So I need my notes. I open tabs for monsters but I can imagine having it all in one place. Like Roll20 but with pop ups.
But I would like to hear that podcast, if you would please link.
I play one game in Roll20 to every roll it open but I like hiding my rolls. It means I can fudge sometimes without worrying the players.
Hey guy's, I noticed the page i get when i search in "monster > monsters listing" is diferent from the "compendium > rules > monster manual". No major issue, just the monster manual have the entire lore and rules and monster listing have just the rules, i think this is to make the search fast and I appreciated it. My sugestion: put a link in the final line of the monster rules to link to the correspondenting lore page.
I'm sure this is probably in the 26 pages of notes somewhere...but just in case it's not...here you go.
I've been in an online campaign for about 6 weeks now and love everything about this so far. I know it's still pretty early on so I have no complaints. One thing that's come up a couple times is the ability to give someone in your campaign something out of your inventory. Could be a potion, a piece of armor, etc. Just having a button that would let me send an item to someone else's inventory would be pretty useful.
I would love to have the ability to see the other players' character sheets that are in a campaign with you. Not to edit them, mind you, but to just see what spells they've taken, class features and all that. It would help a lot as a player.

Read-only character sheets are in the works. That will come with them.

Same thing has come up in my campaign a couple of times too now. The way we have dealt with it is just to remove the inventory from. One character and add to another, but being able to transfer the item would be easier and quicker. Maybe a spot to drop the item in the campaign and have another player take it.
I'm not sure if its been brought up before, but I tend to use 'characters' as an important integration for my campaign. Mostly notable NPC's, reoccurring villains, the odd character that becomes important beyond the original story idea. I'd love to be able to add 'my characters' to the campaign notes as names, links, and a note space.
I would like to see expanded character view for all the characters in the campaign which would include (for each character): - AC - HP (max + current) - Passive Perception - Initiative bonus - Speed
You can already see these if you click "view" from selected character, but it would be great to see all of the info at once!
This, 1000 times this.
Having a DM character overview table with clickable links to each character's sheet would be invaluable to a DM.
The problem i run into, is that often more then not, i also want to see all of their actual skills as well as their languages.
so in the end i'd like to just see all characters for the game. but i agree that having a card with all player stats aside each others would be great.

Absolutely. A basic DM dashboard with this info and links to the actual characters would be a fantastic start.

I would almost like to see the Campaign section be widget-based, if that were possible; on both the player and GM/DM side. Obviously the GM would have more options in terms of available widgets, but it would open up the versatility of the feature. Knowing nothing about how that would work in implementation, I can only offer it as a 'pie in the sky' wish. Having the ability to actively rearrange, resize, open/close the portions of my digital DM Screen would prove invaluable. Or even a preset dashboard that cannot be altered live, but can be set up prior to a game, maybe with saved templates so I can use the same one across more than one campaign and change up which layout I'm using.
I would love a DDB version of Game Master by Lion's Den... Place for campaign, adventure and encounter notes, the ability to add creatures and players to an initiative, etc.

I was thinking that, but I'm beginning to realise how much better DDB could (most probably eventually will) be. I think what I've realised all I really want in terms of GM features is encounter building, initiative and monster stats tracking. GM does it really well but tool tips alone and having the published adventures has the potential to take it way beyond Game Master.

I would really like the ability to have co-DMs in the campaign manager. I'm trying to run a campaign with a friend, and I recently got the master subscription specifically so that I could share content with him. But...he can't join except as a character, which is severely limiting and means I can't put stuff I want only him to see into the private notes. Also, I'd like to reiterate from previous comments that the ability to upload docs and really just do anything other than manage characters and make notes would be appreciated.
