Feature request: player summary page for the campaign. Basically the ability to add any or all characters from a campaign to a summary page for easy access by the dm. Like a short list with ac, hp, passive perception and saving throws. This would be really handy so I don’t have to manually create it.

Very very much for it. As an Adventurer's League GM, what I always ask is full name, DCI, character name, race, class, level, AC, PP and interesting story awards.
Would probably be great if each player would fill out such a section. Automatically with the usual stuff but let them add some notes to it.
We need the ability to annotate over the top of a campaign. Either using simple text or with a function like Microsoft Edge's annotations. For obvious reasons this is extremely useful to a DM. If I was using a paper copy I would be scribbling notes on sticky notes several times per chapter.

Also a great idea. I would like to add notes to adventure pages.
I've tried several add ons but nothing works well. A built in solution would be best.

Even the ability to highlight would be very useful.

I'd like to piggy-back off this and say that a notation/highlight function for the player in the campaign would likely be useful. If one were to take this to the fullest all of the GM's handouts would be digital, so why not the player's notes, as well?
There needs to be a way for a DM to add NPC's or even PC's to the campaign page.
For example:
I'm about to run Out of the Abyss. The very first chapter the characters collect like 9 NPC's which I am going to give them control of in combat. I should be able to create them as a character for the players to see.
On the Campaign Management page, there needs to be the ability for a player (or DM) to add a short bio to a character. To kind of serve as a roster
This one feels more like a Character Sheet thing, wherein you would just have access to the Character Info within the Campaign Management screen, at least to me. Unless you're saying that it pulls info from the Character Sheet and displays minor bits (name, race, class, level, maybe a shortened bit of the background with a "view more" link or expandable button)? But having a bio separate from the Character Sheet, itself, seems wrong to me, somehow.
I would want a way to use a iniative stick that all are responsible for. A box on the character sheet where you say what you roll, it adds your iniative plus and shows it on something the DM can administrate and show on a screen. And as an add, it would be nice if the DM could insert monsters when it is their turn. And name it in a way that players see one name and the DM sees another to easy keep track. Players see: Man with cloak DM see: Mage level 6, Lord Mandrake.

I'm not stupid. I'm just unlucky when I'm thinking.

Right now you can add additional, fully created (N)PCs to the campaign, up to the campaign limit of 12. To do so, you simply follow the same campaign link that you provided to your players. However, just like a player can't see the full details of another players character sheet, they wouldn't be able to see these either. Only the DM has full access to all the characters, so that doesn't really address your needs at this point. I just wanted to point out how the DM adds characters to a campaign in case you didn't realize it.
Needs to be the ability to look at other player characters sheets. Obviously this would need to be a checkbox for the DM to tick as some games this will be discouraged. For the most part though everyone in every game I play like to know the other members of the parties capabilities. Roleplay wise this makes sense because you'd need to know who was the best tracker in the party, who's the best mapper, forager, scout, archer, diplomat, cook, etc
Doesnt make sense if characters shouldnt know or never talked about it. But i agree it would be great to have that ability availlable.

I've said it elsewhere but putting it here anyway. I want to be able to set, per campaign I run, what sources are available to my players. I own everything but I don't want them to read the adventures.
I just wanted to say thank you dnd beyond has been a great resource for me, running two campaigns of six people each, with myself an inexpereinced DM thank you dnd beyond and thank you critical role for opening my eyes to this resource. #critical-role.
Right now three boxes for note taking is way to short. In the spirit of keeping it simple and not asking something like Realms Works as I've seen in previous posts, just add support for individual notes and folders to contain those notes. After that, the notes editor could be improved step by step, for example:
Styling those notes like the official published adventures
Allowing to link to other notes so we can create cross references in a wiki-style
Add the "Text Box" style, for descriptions that should be read out loud
This wasn't on the first 3 pages of upvoted responses and I haven't found how to do it in the app.
I should be able to control/grant xp or milestones to the characters in my campaign.
Are you referring to the mobile app that is in alpha? Or just the pages as the appear on they phone or a tablet?
If the former, then I believe there is a dedicated thread for the Mobile app.
If the latter, then go to the campaign, view the character you wish to add XP to, tap their character portrait and a drop down menu should appear, select manage experience and go team go.

And what about running a game with seven players where I want to grant them all experience at the end of a session? Because that's what I'm doing.
I want to give XP once, not seven times through five menus.

I did mean in the web interface. I can certainly go into each character individually and change whatever I want, but I'd prefer to be able to doing it in a blanket way. Thats more of the product feedback I have. I appreciate the info though - cause it wasn't until I went looking for this feature that I realized I could even do that.
To expand on the feature I think would be good for the app; if for instance i could dole out 1200 XP for the adventure today, and it just ups the XP of each character and maybe that allows them to level or it doesn't based on the rules, or hit a button to push them up a level for story/milestone exp. I actually envision an entire sub system for tracking milestones being useful in the future so you can track minor/major milestones.
I think perhaps a character panel where you see some info on all the characters would extremely useful for when you are running encounter, and if you could edit something like XP through that, where everyone is listed together there's less screens to move through, then maybe that would take much of the need out for pushing exp en masse.
