I'm sure it's been mentioned before, and I realize the rules of the game state that max level is 20 and max ability score is 30, but there are exceptions. I am currently in a campaign where every PC is multi classing, so the DM allowed levels up to 30 in order to get primary class to 20 and the second to 10. Being the only one who uses DnD Beyond I feel left out as I have to now manually keep track of my levels past 20 on a separate source. Also, some of our items have given us ability scores above 30 and it would be nice to see all the stats it changes instead of changing those manually as well.
thanks

Dungeons & Dragons embraces homebrew rules & content more than most games I have played, so nobody should tell you that you are wrong for deciding to exceed the game limits in your campaign. In short, if it's fun for your group, then that's awesome!
D&D Beyond is the official digital tools for Dungeons & Dragons, so needs to ensure that the core rules of the game are applied to characters.
Where it makes sense to do so, options have been enabled to allow common homebrew changes to those rules (such as adding feats outside of level progression).
Ability scores increasing over 30 just isn't going to happen though on D&D Beyond, as there are no rules published by Wizards of the Coast for what happens to ability scores. I understand that the linear model can be extrapolated, but there's still nothing official. Similarly, level 20 was chosen as a maximum for a reason. I expect that balance and bounding might become an issue, as well as class/subclass features interacting in ways that weren't intended - this would require a lot of work for the development team, to support your game.
It sucks that you're in this awkward position, I get that, but unfortunately it's not something that D&D Beyond can support.

I agree, but more that 5e needs an epic levels rule book, than DDB needing to allow epic levels homebrew.
Although, my campaigns have never made it to level 10, let alone 20+.
