I was trying to do this as well. Not sure if there is another way to add a feat to a character prior to the next ability score /feat level up so I was using this a work around...or I was trying to

Hi Grevari,
You can add feats directly through the "Manage Feats" selection on the character sheet. Just navigate to the "Feats" section of the character sheet and choose Manage Feats, and a sidebar will appear allowing you to a feat of your choice.
Currently the "Feat" modifier only populates official feats, I'll pass your request on, Benz74M. :)

Thank you very much, I was able to add a homebrew feat as well doing this. Again Thank you!
I am unable to add Homebrew Feats this way. Only official Feats available. Is there an update coming? It's been three years...
EDIT: I had to click on Settings at the top of the Manage Feats window and turn off Use Feat Prerequisites. Then the homebrew Feats appeared. I hope others find this helpful.
When creating a magic item that grants a feat (Modifier > Feat), homebrew feats do not appear in the list of available feats.

The feat modifier doesn't work on items.
Not sure what you mean by "doesn't work". You can add a RAW feat through a magic item. You just can't add a homebrew one, hence this post.
You can add homebrew spells to a homebrew magic item so why not homebrew feats?

I think's it's simply an omission. I hope there will be a fix.

Where do homebrew feats appear? On feats list or?
Hello friend,
I am trying to add a HB feat but when I go to the feats section and disable "prerequisites" I still cannot see the feat.
Did you have to do anything else for this?
The feat is in my collection and doesn't even have any prerequisites
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
KR
*EDIT*
Found this. didn't have HB enabled on the character :)
Hmm still an issue in 2024?
do you have homebrew enabled?
