So I'm looking through the homebrew lists, and while some genuinely seem like good balanced ideas, there are others that don't quite fit the bill.
Could there be a way for users to vote for their favorite content, or mark bad content in some way? Then we could filter out the unnecessary things in the site.
As an example, I was looking at homebrew spells and saw one that did 1000d10 damage. That's unnecessary and I'd rather not have to go through it while looking for suggestions and ideas. But that's just me.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
I agree. I think a way to sort by the amount of people who have added content to their library would be nice. Also discussion and comment threads linked directly to the homebrew content to discuss viability and play. Checks and balances need to be in place for this to be a place where hardcore gamers share viable homebrew.
Once users are able to add public homebrew, you'll see popularity being an important factor - there is a visible stat against each homebrew - "Adds" - this is the number of people who have decided they like this homebrew sufficiently to add it to their account for use.
The better homebrew will gain more Adds, which will make it much easier to find quality homebrew.
The flip side of this is, it's difficult for new homebrew to gain visibility.
As a way of combatting that, I'm planning to run a weekly "homebrew spotlight" review, to showcase what I (and the other moderators) believe to be the best quality homebrew submitted that week.

How about showing two stats; "Adds" and "Average Adds Per Day"?

I like the Homebrew Spotlight idea as it builds the community feel. However, I do think that one more statistic would greatly benefit the whole community as well as help identify homebrew items for the "Spotlight" as well.

I was thinking about this too. Maybe be able to sort by most adds and then also maybe a plus/minus system as well that informs people.

I'd also like to be able to post to content, comment style. This way, feedback on content can be seen with the content itself.
