The oversized longbow is a very interesting weapon in that it is the only strength-scaling ranged weapon presented to us in 5e but it doesn't exist as an attainable item on DDB even though its stats are presented in the adventure module. This weapon would be much more convenient to award to players and open up some fun avenues for homebrew if it were added as an official item.
Treasure. Ziraj wears +2 leather armor and carries an oversized longbow. This unique weapon can be used only by a Medium or larger creature that has a Strength of 18 or higher. The bow shoots oversized arrows that deal piercing damage equal to 2d6 + the wielder’s Strength modifier. Its range is the same as an ordinary longbow.
I'm surprised that WotC does not include all collectible treasure items from creature encounters in the Magic Items section of their books. Of course, if the homebrew section was more functional, then it would be easy to create an item like the Oversized Longbow. Nothing against DDB. It has come a long way since the beginning and I'm excited by what they plan to do in the future.
been waiting for this to be added for a while. and i agree with the hope that homebrew would be opened up a bit more. my players are finding it cumbersome to manage both physical item cards and digital inventory at the same time.

No movement on this? Is it a licensing issue somehow? It's still not listed, despite being officially published as obtainable loot with stats for its use by other characters... Would it need such details, if it were not intended to be obtainable?
Seems weird to omit cool & unique items unless it's for fracking copyright reasons. Isn't other Dragon Heist content already on here?

That is basically shooting greatswords.

I bet it is a data management thing. They don't have any groundwork for nonmagic gear that isn't basic gear.
WotC is probably going to want them to differentiate it.
They have mentioned that custom weapons, etc is planned, so this would probably get added alongside that.
