A constructive response would be something like: “As a user of the platform I should be able to purchase content for other users of the platform.” or however you’d envision being able to use the feature.
Kinda sad this hasn’t been done by now they are really missing out especially because you could just pay cash for the cards and get the items if you prefer that way or raffle cards off or gift to DM’s etc . Would help players and DM’s alike
Yeah... totally surprised they still don't have gift cards! What the hell WotC/Hasbro? It's an easy way to boost revenue!
For instance... my mother is ALWAYS buying gifts for the family and looking for what people want. She is NOT going to go to the site, create an account (or not even if that isn't necessary) and buy through the system. She WOULD however buy a gift card that could be used on the site. She's just one example.
There are at least 4 people I could buy gift cards for.
6 people my son could buy for.
and at least 2 dozen who would jump at the chance to get me gift cards....

Another year that I can't add DndBeyond to my wishlist... or give it to all of my DND friends (10+ and countng....) ... Maybe Roll20 has the option.... This thread is 6 years old and still active Hasbro...
Just get a prepaid debit card. You can also buy digital copies on Amazon and give them the code, or an amazon gift card and they can buy a digital code on Amazon and redeem it here on DDB.
How is it that you still can't purchase a gift card? Yeah I get the product key gift but how am I supposed to know what source book my DM wants. And there is no wish list feature on profiles? Its like they hate money or something.

I have a question out to through the DDB feedback, but it might be faster here. If you purchase a digital key as a gift, but the recipient already has the item, would them entering the key into their account give them credit for some later purchase? One of the FAQs on gifting seems to indicate that, but it is worded in a strange way that leaves me not positive that is the case. Any experiences out there?

prepaid from what I heard DDB didn't take.

Agreed and a gift card feature you’d think they’d love implementing because you could save or stash funds away for a bigger bundle etc too that way
This only works for Americans unfortunately.
