Holiday season is coming up. Has there been any thought by staff about digital gift cards or the like that could be used for D&D Beyond? D&D physical books always made good gifts.
Even if one had the option to gift a book upon purchase with a digital code, this would be nice. Would definitely yield more giveaway incentives among a few communities.
I would very much appreciate the ability to go to my friendly local Wal-Mart and buy a D&D Beyond gift card. May I suggest $24.99 and $29.99 sizes?
I very much so second that. It would also make gifting books super efficient. Technically, you don't have to offer physical versions. I'd be down with digital codes. I've got like $100 in best buy reward zone points just sitting there, waiting for the right moment, and having the freedom to buy a gift card for myself or a friend would be perfect, especially if it's tied with a sale of some kind.
Edit: Right now is a perfect example. I want to preorder Xanathar's so, so, so very bad, but I'm going to have a number of medical bills for the month of October (the fiscal year starts over, and I have to meet my deductible before my copays start kicking in), so I'd otherwise have to wait until November to preorder, and I'm afraid that I'll miss out on the Alpha for the app.
We NEED a gift card option. This would help immensely!!! I would love to be able to tell everyone who asks what to get my husband as a gift 'Get him a D&D Beyond gift card'. Please make this a reality SOON!!!!!
As a DM, I am always open to receiving bribesgifts from my players. This is something that would definitely be helpful in their adventures. And, as mentioned in the beginning thread, the holidays are a great time for parties to come together and purchase their humble DMs Legendary Bundles! Gift cards, digital or in-store, would be a great addition.

Just as long as it exists in time to use it to pre-order XGtE; I'm a horrible completionist, and I'd hate to miss out on the fancy character sheet art. (The other stuff with be available anyway, eventually).

I found this thread while seeking the answer to this question, as well. My fiancee and I are major nerds and are getting married soon. (Next Friday, November 3rd, in fact!). Someone just asked us if they could gift us D&D sourcebooks and I am quite sad to see that it would not be a straightforward operation.
That long ramble is to say that I cast my vote also for gifting of cards and such! If for entirely selfish reasons. ;)
I think digital codes, at the least. That way you can buy it and give it to someone. Some interesting sales could happen that way. I imagine a Valentine's Day sale of buy one and give one, or something like that. It would be neat!
My family thought the same for Christmas. However, only one card can be used at check out. My dreams of a legendary bundle were crushed once more. #DMDreams

Please try and bring this is for Xmas. Or at least make digital copies available with codes from hard copy books they have bought. Family want to gift me things for Xmas that I would like and I’d love to update my campaigns.

Edit: And $9.99 and $14.99 for things like the Tortle Package, and $25.4915, $21.2415, $12.7415, and $8.4915 for Legendary Bundle owners?

I third and fourth that this would be a wonderful idea.
Yes! Please add gift cards to the marketplace. It would be wonderful!

Google brought me here, guess this isn't possible. My janky solution will have to be an amex gift card with DNDBEYOND.COM written on it :)

In addition to gift cards, I'd love to be able to send books or other products to friends as gifts.
I’d love to be able to start doing giveaways to my community members for my streams, so let’s do this 😁👍
I guess I won't be getting Beyond for my birthday.

Agreed! So much great content would make an awesome holiday gift!
Yet another: please do this?? Thanks!
Why not be able to knock a little off the price for me and my friends with a gift card on Christmas
