I play in 3 different homebrew games and DM another. Having folders and sub folders in the My Characters section would be a great resource for me to keep all my NPC's for a campaign together (or even all my NPC's for a town together) with a separate space for my AL characters too. I know we can drop characters in a Campaign but having a more flexible way of sorting the characters I've built would be immensely useful.

@cade37 nothing takes '5 minutes' in software development, especially not adding a user data hierarchy where there previously was one. It's also probably not high on their Dev list because they have access to the data to tell them exactly how many users have enough characters to warrant needing folders.
I admit to knowing nothing about software. I also admit that I bought Legendary and absolutely love everything about this Site (almost). But I really think adding a folder to drag things into would be simple. If this was SQL it would take 5 minutes

Yes, this would be very useful, especially for people who are running or participating in multiple campaigns at once.
Whoops, I forgot I had the extension installed. Sorry for the confusion!
I agree that folder and sub folders in the My Characters section would be extremely helpful. 😁
I would like to throw my vote in for folders
The team already stated in a video that this feature is on their todo list, although not top priority.
Neat! Dropping all my pregens and character concepts in a folder is a godsend. Thanks for this!
However, it would still be nice to have this native since I don't bring the desktop to games (I use a tablet)
Any news on folder functionality for characters, or even tagging characters for quick-searching using built in search, for the upcoming 2019 update??

I had folders yesterday and now they're gone! What happened?

The staff team plans to implement this -- as of 11/12/17 -- great progress !! Putting folders in should take, what, 5 minutes?
@oscarfellini if you had folders, that would've been from a plugin as they're not available on site natively

You are correct! My son installed the Chrome "Beyond Help" extension and didn't tell me! Mystery solved. Cheers.
