I think having death saves be in the section with the other saving throws would be helpful, I run an online game and we use beyond 20, and currently beyond 20 doesn't add any bonuses like from a ring of protection. It would be nice if death saves were on up there so we could see any and all bonuses someone has for their death saves and then when they roll death saves their bonuses would be included.
As you've noted, the Death Saving Throw section only displays once the character is reduced to zero hit points, which is why it displays in the hit points section? Why do you feel it would be better placed in the Saving Throws section?
The dice rolls functionality provided by the Beyond20 browser extension is not within the control of D&D Beyond - it's a 3rd party extension. I suggest submitting a request to the author.
The Death saving throw is a regular saving throw though and does receive any other bonuses that apply to saving throws!

Wouldn't things like Cloak/Ring of Protection, paladin auras and Bless all contribute to death *Saving Throw* bonuses? Granted there are no stats that govern it but all of those should add to it
It would be nice to have that listed somewhere because that’s something I recently learned before making this post. I had one of my players characters almost die because he rolled a 9, which after bonuses would’ve been a 10. It would just be nice to have that listed in the saving throw area.

It is listed somewhere. Under the ability, or item, that allows the bonus to be given. For example, the Artificer's Flash of Genius ability allows them as a Reaction to give themselves or another creature they can see within 30 feet, a plus equal to their Intelligence Modifier to roll. Do note its a reaction, so if the Artificer is the one making the Death Save, they cant give it to themselves because they are incapacitated. Another is the Ring of Protection, which gives a +1 to AC and savings throws. It doesnt exclude death saving throws, and therefore you are making a saving throw so you get the +1 from it on that roll.
It would be nice to have that shown somewhere other then in the item description, like in the saving throw area. Like I had said before one of my players almost died because we forgot about the bonuses to death saves.

Without being rude, it does. right in the saving throw box when wearing a ring of protection or similar it says "+1 to saving throws". the fact that it doesn't specify say dex saving throws means it applies to EVERYTHING that is any sort of saving throw.
and writing out ring of protection: +1 to saving throws, such as str, dex, con, int, wis, cha, death, and everything else that includes 'saving throws' is redundant on an already small character sheet.
Granted, it is a little of an obscure rule, only because the PHB says that 'death saves are a straight roll'
Dont forget that things like paladin aura or the bless spell also work on death saves
With the Digital Dice feature, we're able to roll Saving Throws for all six abilities directly from our character sheets, but could we please have a clickable item within the Death Saving Throw section of the character sheet that rolls a d20 but shows up in the Game Log as a Death Saving Throw instead of a Custom Roll?
Additionally, why is the option to Restore Life (with full HP or with 1 HP) displayed after 3 failures?

The reason is that a Death Saving Throw does not have any bonuses added to it. It is just a straight D20 roll.

Yes, if an item or feature includes a bonus (or penalty) to saving throws, it applies - death saving throws are still saving throws.

Incase the dead character gets brought back to life via magic. Some magic will bring you back with 1hp, while others can bring you back at full hp.
