So, I started to use DnD Beyond as its a really useful tool to catalog homebrew stuff but in trying to make one of the magical items in a campaign I found the weapon selection to be missing brass knuckles, punching daggers, and more! I would love to at least know how or when this list will be expanded so I can make the description more clear as to what the item is.
Alas, official 5e doesn't have brass knuckles or punching daggers. Even worse, D&D Beyond doesn't support homebrew mundane items.
You kinda can ....
If you want to create a custom weapon, you can do so by creating it as a Wondrous Item, then add a Modifier of "Natural Weapon" selecting the damage type, the stat (STR or DEX) that you want used, then the damage.
It will even show up in the ATTACKS section of the character sheet.

Well, yes, you can make a wondrous item, but it's filed as a magic item if you do it that way.

Hmmm. Thanks for the suggestion and stuff. Hopefully they add mundane item creation but I will try the wonderous item creation for now.
