Please oh Wizards of the Coast Gods, listen to my plea... Allow my patrons to filter by pantheon in the race list and ease the confusion about "What race can I play?..."
This site is D&D Beyond, owned by Fandom. It is not Wizards of the Coast.
I don't think patron means what you think it does. A patron is an older word for anyone offering coin, service or goods in exchange for goods or service. In modern days we separate the definitions into two new words: "customer" and "investor". So your "patrons" would be your customers and/or your investors. Unless you're a paid DM, I think you mean "players".
Pantheons have nothing to do with what races you can play. For clarity a pantheon is a list of all deities worshipped in a religion (or D&D setting). The word is basically Greek for "all gods" ( pan theos ).
If your request is for a DM to be able to select what races/options are available for players to select, then I believe D&D Beyond are working towards something like that. Although, I'm not entirely sure if that's what you're actually asking for. If it isn't then I apologise and ask if you could clarify as your post doesn't make much sense.

That way we can say "Choose the Forgotten Realms as your Pantheon when choosing a race, and have fun choosing."
Thanks,
Raith,
Still confusing because pantheon has absolutely nothing to do with races. I think you mean filter by setting.

I would think that the DND Beyond forum would be a little more receptive. The reason I call them patrons, is because I DM for a local gaming store, and have to keep an appreciation for why they come to the store to begin with.
Look check out the PHB and see Pantheons, then tell me what races and Pantheons have to do with each other.
Also I dont know all the books that my players own, therefore just being able to filter by pantheon on the Races list would be beneficial, or so I thought before bringing it to this forum.

Per the rules, there is no explicit link between any given race and any given pantheon. Pantheons are actually setting based; for example the Greyhawk pantheon belongs to the Greyhawk setting and the Faerun pantheon belongs to the Forgotten Realms setting. A DM can put whatever pantheons, or parts of pantheons, they wish into their homebrew settings of course.
Because there are no official rules linking race and pantheon, and D&D Beyond first and foremost respects the official rules, this is not really a feature that DDB can add.

Have a great day all...
Raith.
Pantheons are the group of deities worshiped by the people of a specific religion or area. What you mean is the races, not gods specific to the world you are playing in. We are not 'receptive' because you asked the question incorrectly so that we could not tell what you were asking. We also suggested the time-honored method of asking your players instead of requesting D&D Beyond to add a new feature.
I understand you point of view, but even in your character creation, when you filter by Pantheon (Eberon, Magic the Gathering..), it removes the associated races.
I just went to check if changelings are available when you remove Eberon and they are not.
There is an inconsistency here.
Thank you for the feedback and response, I appreciate it as it has been confusing for my players.

Those aren't pantheons, those are content sources. All content in the character builder is divided into content sources:
Homebrew Content - everything in 'My Collection' of your homebrew, plus everything in My Collection of other members of a campaign your character may be part of
Critical Role Content - anything first published in Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, plus Blood Hunter, Gunslinger, Cobalt Soul and Oath of the Open Sea homebrew options made available for free
Playtest Content - Everything currently released through Unearthed Arcana that's in active test
Magic: The Gathering Content - anything first published in Mythic Odysseys of Theros and Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica
Eberron Content - anything first published in Eberron: Rising from the Last War and Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron except the Artificer and subclasses which have been moved over to Core content (see below)
Rick and Morty Content - anything first published in Rick & Morty vs D&D, the Dungeon of Rickedness
Noncore D&D Content - anything first published in a digital only product, which is currently anything released as part of Extra Life (One Grung Above, Lost Laboratory of Kwalish etc)
Anything that doesn't fall into the above categories (plus Artificer and subclasses as mentioned) is considered 'core content' and is always enabled.
None of this however has any relation to pantheons of deities as published in any sourcebook.

That's correct my players patronage my service to run a game.
They dont really pay me, but entrust me to offer a good game for the value of their time and friendship :p
Just to simplify the request:
Please add a Pantheon filter to this page: https://www.dndbeyond.com/races
That way we can say "Choose the Forgotten Realms as your Pantheon when choosing a race, and have fun choosing."
Thanks,
Raith,

How hard is it to tell your "patrons" aka players - "these are the available races in my worlds"
That is all you need, no fancy pantheon or whatever word you mean to use. Just tell them what is and isn't allowed.
BTW - you can already turn on and off most races via the first page of the creator when you select certain source material toggles as well
Pretty much that. Just give them a list of what you think is ok for your campaign and be firm when they ask for something not on the list.

I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)
