Is there a way to access things like spells, stat blocks and classes without downloading them all to my phone storage? If not I think there should be. I like the idea of downloading as an option(like music on Spotify), but as a requirement it is clunky and I never use it because my phone storage is inferior to my internet connection most of the time, plus the amount of content I need access to as a DM would take up too much space. I would use the app so much more if I could access the content through the app as easily as through the website.
You can always just visit the website on your phone. Everything displays pretty cleanly on my phone, it loads quickly and without issue. It might just take a moment to get use to the navigation.
I mean, yes I could always do that. But navigation is less convenient/clear on the mobile website than the app, and it just seems like a logical step for the app to have, functionality wise. I'm sure there's a reason the app is structured the way it is, but from the my perspective on the user end the limitation to downloaded material seems arbitrarily inconvenient. I can see it being useful for players, but not really for DMs unless they have a big, fat SD card in their phone.
The primary purpose for the mobile application has always been to serve users who want to be able to play D&D using D&D Beyond, in places where they don't have an internet connection. That can be on a train, in someone's basement, at a convention, at the beach - any of these places and more cropped up during research, but the common request was clear, that the core structure of the app needed to be based around downloading the licensed content to the device, for offline consumption.

Thanks for your consideration.

I hope that helps!
