So, I bought my cousin the subclasses from the Player's Handbook, and I bought his wife Candlekeep Mysteries, everything as gifts. Two questions...

1. Will my cousin get a break on the price of the Player's Handbook if he decides to buy the whole book?
2. Two parts: Will my cousin's wife get the pre-order perks, and if so, does she need to enter the gift code before the book is released?

1.) If your cousin now "owns" the subclasses, what you paid for the sublcasses will be credited toward the cost of the Player's Handbook if he wants to buy the whole thing.

2.) Not sure.  I'm not sure how gift redemption works in sync with perks.  I'm presuming if you bought a book prior to release whoever's account receives the book will be granted the pre-order perks at release.  But that's just a guess.
