I created a cantrip and want to add my characters stat bonus as bonus damage to the state at level 8.
So, cantrip does 2d6 damage, but at level 8 it would be 2d6 + Int Bonus (+4 at current it) so 2d6+4.
I think i need to update the talent and do "add modifier" but not sure what to choose. Maybe in fixed value? Is there a way to set it as a variable so it looks for INT stat bonus?
You can create a homebre (pseudo) weapon that does 2d6+Int damage though again the test would need to make it clear it is a spell attack (rather than a weapon attack) and you will probably need to edit the it to to 3d6+int when you hit level 11.

You just have to put it in plain text in the spell description.
"Sooner or later, your Players are going to smash your railroad into a sandbox."
-Vedexent
"real life is a super high CR."
-OboeLauren
"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"

There is no way to make INT the attack/damage stat.
