A L2 ranger, level 2 bard level 16 draconic ic ranger. I might not have level 9 spells but I’m able to fight effectively, handle pretty much any skill and blast my way through pretty much anything.
I'd be the person that plays the most Abserd build Beyond can provide.
Only 7 more slots can fit into that Abserd build, 1 of which is likely Psion, and 2 of which(Tamer & Apothecary) are more likely than the remaining Valda's(Alchemist, Captain, Craftsman, Investigator, Martyr, Necromancer, Warden, Warmage, Witch)...there's also a non-zero chance more full classes could be added in the future that are not from Heliana's, Sebastian Crowe's and/or Valda's(The makers of Grim Hollow:Transformed in particular have something cooking).
It depends on the setting, because you are obviously going to want to create and probably optimize your character to survive and do a lot of damage.
My personal opinion is 20th should not be that hard to reach. It's only 355,000xp. You needed a 355,000xp to make it to make it midway as a 9th level as a fighter in AD&D 1e. From what I can see, you get more xp for the same monsters in 5e, than you did in 1e. So the problem of leveling sounds like there's not enough dungeon crawling done by DM's or maybe they are running a sessions with too many players? But then I digress....

Battlemaster requires I think tactically same as a caster.
With a champion the rest of the table wont be looking to me devise battle plans
A cleric, DIvine intervention Is insane
Dungeon Dad! Also I agree, moon Druid 20 is crazy. My favourite Druid has to be Shepherd Druid 19/ Twilight Cleric 1

Yes, I do love making Abserd builds.
DM, player & homebrewer(Current homebrew project is an unofficial conversion of SBURB/SGRUB from Homestuck into DND 5e)
Once made Maxwell's Silver Hammer come down upon Strahd's head to make sure he was dead.
Always study & sharpen philosophical razors. They save a lot of trouble.
Straight class Berserker Barbarian. 24 strength and con sound juicy.
Multiclass, as there is no pain in spending a long time and a lot of points as a 1 lvl anything.
Every character I play has 3-4 multiclasses. A level 20 single class would be dope.
