Why not yuan ti pure blood(which is not in the poll) you can make them swindlers who as they are immune to poison(and as alcohol is a poison) drink everyone under the table or a circus act where they consume poisonous food. If you are a sorcerer or beast barbarian, you can roleplay as an experiment by the yuan ti to get more power. While they as a race are described for not being emotional, they do state in the flaws of them that some do experience emotions so you can roleplay them learning about and experiencing them.
No love for lineages? Voted Warforged due to being closest to Reborn.
Oh I absolutely love custom lineage since that also gives a free feat.... which is also the reason I chose to keep it off this list lol
"Lineages", introduced in Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft, is a separate option from "custom lineage".
the Reborn is to me what V. Human is to you. I find it extremely difficult to play anything else.
Ah my bad, I don't have access to that book which is why it's not on the list :/
Absolutely fair. Not the worst use of $2-$6 though, just saying. Not too interested in the Hexblood myself, but the Dhampir would be cool if I actually played something other than Reborn.

Yeah, I chose to keep them off the list since they tend to be evil. That doesn't mean I couldn't play one as good, but I prefer to avoid playing races that lean evil.

Well I would consider the pure bloods as people who are indoctrinated into a cult which is inferred to treat them badly so some spies might just stay where they were sent as they have a nicer life then back at their home so I would consider yuan-ti to be tropical drow in terms of evilness.

Yes I agree with that. Had Elf won I would exclude drow from the subraces I'd choose. I'll also be excluding deep gnomes from the gnomes and gray dwarves from the dwarves.

Firbolg. I suppose I was influenced by the recent article.
Only spilt the party if you see something shiny.
Ariendela Sneakerson, Half-elf Rogue (8); Harmony Wolfsbane, Tiefling Bard (10); Agnomally, Gnomish Sorcerer (3); Breeze, Tabaxi Monk (8); Grace, Dragonborn Barbarian (7); DM, Homebrew- The Sequestered Lands/Underwater Explorers; Candlekeep
No Lineages from Ravenloft, no custom lineage and no human you need more choices gosh.

The whole point of this was for me to play a race other than human and custom lineage so I wouldn't get the free feat. Those races are S tier xD
What article might that be?
I believe they're referring to this one: https://www.dndbeyond.com/posts/287-putting-the-fur-in-firbolg-the-evolution-of-a

If not human then mini lucky human. Halfling, the next best thing to a full-sized person.
Gotcha, thank you

Well, since you are Tyrannosary, I voted Dragonborn. (Green) being the obvious suggestion.
Thank you for your time and please have a very pleasant day.
